Creative and media
Dancers use movement to perform for live audiences or in recorded performances.
You'll usually need a degree or diploma in professional dance or musical theatre. These take 2 to 3 years to complete and are offered by dance schools and universities. Academic qualifications may not be essential if you show enough talent at audition. You could get a Dance and Drama Award to help with fees and living costs.

You could work at a TV studio, on a cruise ship, in a hotel, in the community, at a film studio or in a theatre. Your working environment may be physically demanding and you may spend nights away from home.
With experience, you could move into choreography or dance teaching.
Live sound engineers control the sound at events like theatre performances, music concerts and festivals.
Fine artists create original works of art using methods like painting, drawing and sculpture.
Entertainers perform for audiences in stage, cabaret or comedy shows.
Newspaper and magazine editors manage the style and content of printed publications.
Computer-aided design (CAD) technicians use software to design buildings, machinery, goods and components.
Wardrobe assistants help to make, find and look after clothes and costumes used in theatre, film and TV productions.

Candidates will undertake four-weeks of employability workshops with Catch22, learning about the tech industry and employability skills, whilst networking and engaging in projects with other participants. During the workshops, participants attend a session run by Microsoft employees, where they will have the opportunity to ask them questions and hear about their careers so far.Following the four-week workshops, candidates will work with a tech-industry-specialist Career Coach to tailor their CVs, cover letters and interview skills, finding and applying for jobsapprenticeships within tech. Once participants are in employment, we offer in-work support for 6-months.ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: -Not in work or education-Between 18-30-Interested in techcomputer literate-Access to a computer or laptop to join the sessions
