Broadcast journalists research and present news stories and factual programmes on TV, radio and the internet.
Most broadcast journalists enter the job after doing a degree or postgraduate qualification in broadcast journalism. Some courses are accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council. You'll usually need 2 to 3 A-Levels, or equivalent, for a degree. You'll need a degree in any subject for a postgraduate course.

With experience, you could become a studio-based presenter or a special news correspondent. You could also move into programme making, producing, or management.
Furniture makers make and restore items like chairs, tables, beds and display cabinets.
Camera operators record images for film, television, commercials and online.
TV presenters introduce and host programmes, interview people and report on issues and events.
Video editors bring together images and sound for use in film, TV and online productions.
TV and film producers plan and manage the business side of creating television programmes and films.
Leather craftworkers make clothes, shoes and accessories from leather, using traditional methods.

Candidates will undertake four-weeks of employability workshops with Catch22, learning about the tech industry and employability skills, whilst networking and engaging in projects with other participants. During the workshops, participants attend a session run by Microsoft employees, where they will have the opportunity to ask them questions and hear about their careers so far.Following the four-week workshops, candidates will work with a tech-industry-specialist Career Coach to tailor their CVs, cover letters and interview skills, finding and applying for jobsapprenticeships within tech. Once participants are in employment, we offer in-work support for 6-months.ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: -Not in work or education-Between 18-30-Interested in techcomputer literate-Access to a computer or laptop to join the sessions
