Description
As an Apprentice, every day will be different! Your main responsibility will be the administration of our CAFM system. The CAFM system is the asset management database we use to schedule works on the contract. Your days could include the following:
- Administration of the business's Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system.
- Coordinate contractors to ensure that all assets are maintained to the required standard.
- Ensure all maintenance records are effectively maintained.
- Updating work schedules and the planner on the CAFM system
- Assist with the coordination, collation and reporting of utility consumption date and ensuring full compliance with all contractual responsibilities.
- Assist and support the drive to improve our quality standards and assurance across all the operational businesses, including standards in customer service and health and safety.
- Contribute to the Continuous improvement of the company's image and credibility with all stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for health and safety and actively participate in the maintenance and improvement of the overall Company Health and Safety culture.

- Minimum Qualifications are:
- Grade 4/C in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a Business Administration Level 3 qualification via our training partner, Learning Skills Partnership. You will be fully supported to achieve this qualification by learning virtually, having 1-2-1 advice and support, e-learning materials, and a whole team of experts on hand for advice and technical knowledge at your office.
You’ll be provided with a “buddy”, to assist you as you settle in. This is the person will be the friendly face when you join our team – the go-to person that you will ask lots of questions to when you start! Once you have settled in, you will be allocated your mentor in the workplace. Your mentor will support you throughout your qualification, help you learn the technical skills and have regular catchups with you to ensure that you are on the way to become our next superstar!
We keep our list of requirements short, but there are a few that you will need:- Available to commence employment with Amey in September 2022
- The commitment and drive to complete your course and final assessment
- Passion to develop your skills both professionally and personally.
- Successful applicants needed to be aged 18 years old or older by the 1st September 2022
