Description

As a trainee your duties will include meeting clients, answering the phone, making bookings, helping colleagues with clients, cleaning and making refreshments. As you progress you will become involved in shampooing, blow drying and straightening as well as styling, colouring and cutting.

You will receive a full induction in the salon with ongoing support as well as attending Exeter College one day a week.

Excellent communicator, good team player and hardworking
Preferably a GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade 4 or above.
Level 2 Hair Professional with Functional Skills in Maths and English as required.
Successful applicants will have a huge passion for hair, a commitment to ongoing training and want to be part of a very special and talented salon team.

After successful completion of your intermediate Apprenticeship you should consider progressing onto your advanced level. You could be considering for a permanent role in the salon after you are qualified.

Hairdressing is hard work and you will spend a lot of time on your feet!
