Description

We are MKM, a builders’ merchant with a different approach to business, founded in Hull where our first branch was opened in 1995 and where our Central Support office is based. We have naturally expanded to bring our excellent service to more and more customers with over 90 branches nationwide covering more than 20 counties in England and multiple branches in Scotland. Main duties: •Understand customer requirements and go the extra mile to leave the customer happy whilst working within company procedures •Ensure vehicle is loaded correctly and securely as per the route planner •Deal with any damages in accordance with company procedure •Perform daily vehicle checks and record any faults on the 'Drivers Daily Defect Sheet' •Adhere to legalities including Digi-card and Taco graph rules. •Always wear the necessary Personal, Protective Clothing (PPC) as issued when at work. •If operating the forklift trucks, or cranes ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all times. •Always adhere to driver hours and working times to comply with terms of Vehicle Operators Licence. •Keep the vehicle clean and tidy.

LGV Driver level 2 qualification including Functional Skills in Maths and English if required
